ಕೆ. ಪಿ. ಪೂರ್ಣಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ   (8 ಸಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್‌ 1938 - 5 ಎಪ್ರಿಲ್‌ 2007)                          ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಎರಡು ಜೀವಗಳಾದರೆ; ಒಂದು ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಗು. ಹೇಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವೋ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಆಧಾರ ಬೇಕೇ ಬೇಕು. ಆದರೇ, ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸೆಳೆದ ಏಕಮಾತ್ರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೆಂದರೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪುರವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಕೆ. ಪಿ. ಪೂರ್ಣಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ. ಕಾಲೇಜು ದಿನದ ಬಿಡುವಿನ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯೇತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿ ವಾಚನಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ ಗಮನಸೆಳೆದ ಮತ್ತು ತದನಂತರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಆಳವನ್ನು ತೋಡುವಂತಹ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕವಿ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ. ಹೌದು ಅವರ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯ ಶೈಲಿಯೇ ಹಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಕೇವಲ ಅವರ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರತ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮದ ಕಡೆ ಸೆಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯವರ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ ಅವರ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.                              ನವೋದಯ ಕವಿಗಳು ನಿಸರ್ಗವನ್ನು ದೈವದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡರೆ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಅದೇ ನಿಸರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಅದರ ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ವಿಕ

In statistical survey, variables are observed. If observations concern a single variable, the resulting data is a univariate data. On the other hand, if observations concern two or more variables, the resulting data is multivariate data. In the case of two variables, it is bivariate data.   BASIS OF CHARGE According to Sec. 4 of the Income Tax Act, Income-tax is charged on the income of an assessee earned in the previous year according to the rates fixed by the Finance Act. The tax liability is determined on the basis of the residence in India in the previous year. The residential status of an assessee need not be the same each year. The rules determining the Residential Status are not the same for all the assesses. An assessee may earn his income in India or outside India or at both places. Which income is assessable in India depends on the residential status of an asseseee.
